Supposed To Be This

One of Dolla Bill’s favorite songs of the 2024 weekly summer releases. A song that wasn’t even supposed to be, which makes the title all that more fitting. After finding the amazing production, the song basically wrote itself. A reflection on how Dolla was supposed to be all of these things, a college graduate, an office worker, a tradesman, etc., but the one choice that beat out all of the others was music. If you’ve ever struggled with wanting to choose a passion over a typical career, elements of this song will connect like no other.
